Influence Cinema believes in upholding the true nature of independent
film, which by nature, is outside the norm. BIC was formed in 2009
by Mark Britton and Patricia Atkinson. This duo has produced 5 films
and assisted on numerous others, and has several projects in development.
Their work has earned BIC several awards.
Mark's passion for cinematography makes him most at home in the camera department on set, but he has a broad range of experience and credits in independent motion picture work. His small but well equipped production studio provides the tools of the trade needed to bring BIC's vision to the screen.

Pat writes stories that few would live through in real life. Her creative vision and vivid screenwriting is the creative fuel of BIC. In addition to being an award winning director, she has many credits both behind and in front of the camera: writer, actress, choreographer, stunt coordinator and make-up crew.

Bart is a loose cannon of a squirrel whose meanness knowns no prejudice.
Black Bart the Bushy-Tailed Bandit is the Bad Influence Cinema mascot. He joined us as a featured prop on the short film 'Trophy Wife'. He's quirky, assertive, off-beat and slightly creepy. Somehow, he fits in our filmmaking family in a way that we find amusing, yet disturbing.
