Bad Influence Cinema announces an open casting call for actors for our Summer 2012 production of 'Endangered'.
Endangered is Bad Influence Cinema's 6th production. Endangered will begin filming in the latter half of June 2012, shot on location in Eastern Iowa, primarily centered around Iowa City, Iowa.
A dramatic horror project, Endangered will be shot almost entirely outdoors and make extensive use of forested areas. Approximately 30% of the film takes place at night, 70% in daytime. Production schedule is currently flexible, and will be determined by actor availability.
This project will be produced for and distributed on the internet as a series of short films, consisting of approximately 10 episodes varying in length from 3-7 minutes.

James- (lead) A citified country boy who desperately wants his fiance to love the outdoors as much as he does, and has hopes of gaining proof of something he saw in those woods as a child: Bigfoot. 20-30’s. * Sides: [Part1|Part2]

Ranger Nick Geiler- (lead) A veteran DNR ranger who takes his job and responsibilities very seriously. An eagle scout who grew old and jaded but never forgot the concept of always being prepared. 30-40’s. * Sides: [Part1]
Cole- (supporting) An inexperienced camper and newlywed who can’t turn his back on a person in need. 20-30’s. Sides: [Part1|Part2]
Dana- (supporting) Cole’s wife, also a city girl, and a highly empathetic person. 20-30’s. Sides: [Part1]
Ranger Terry Smith- (supporting) A novice ranger and peon in the state park world, barely field tested and unprepared for coming dangers, he nevertheless rises to the occasion. 20-30’s. * Sides: [Part1]
Sheriff Al Whittaker- (supporting) Older and a bit soft around the middle, the sheriff is close to retirement and tired of people. But he takes his job seriously and doesn’t want anything to ruin his service record so close to the end. Doug Hamlin- (supporting) News reporter who’s doing his best to be dispassionate about a news story he’s uncomfortable covering, who is expected to keep his reports upbeat. 20-40’s. Sides: [Part1]
Gordon Fox- (supporting) Native American who’s tracking abilities are called upon to locate Michelle, who knows there’s a lot more going on in those woods than just camping. 20-50’s. * Sides: [Part1]
Eric Frost- (character) Doug’s cameraman/tech guy whose interest in discovery outweighs his fears of what he might find. 20-30’s. Sides: [Part1]
Pete Taylor- (character) Redneck Hillbilly in overalls who eats, sleeps and breathes the outdoors, with a dog of questionable parentage who come to track Michelle’s scent. 30-50’s. Sides: [Part1]
